Dr. Malmstrom

Dr. Nik Malmstrom was originally born and raised in Rochester, New York, before moving to Washington, DC. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Rochester with a double degree in Cell and Developmental Biology and History. He completed his dental education at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and spent two years in Brooklyn, New York where he completed his General Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He has moved back to the DC metropolitan area and is thrilled to be providing quality care for patients in Alexandria and the surroundings. Dr. Nik is passionate about creating the best possible patient experience in an open and caring environment with an excellent team of like-minded professionals.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Nik enjoys soccer, running, skiing, and hiking through national parks with his wife, Kara.
